I have been caring for pets of all kinds since I was just a kid, and I started professionally petsitting and dog walking while I was in high school. Once out of college, I went down to pet sitting only for friends, family, and coworkers and found that I missed the variety of pet interactions! I can't walk past a dog in the street without asking to say hi, and if I get the opportunity to pet sit or dog walk, rest assured I will give your fur baby as much love and attention as I give my own! I recently finished a Masters program, and I'm working on freelance writing from home, as well as teaching yoga at a local studio. My husband, Tom, and our best friend, Eleanor, both reside in our house and love having animals around, so your pets will often have company! There may be times where they are left alone for a few hours in the middle of the day, no more than once or twice a week. I promise to be kind, fair, and compassionate with both you and your furry little ones. I am also happy to send pictures and updates as frequently or infrequently as you would like! A lot of the work I do is remote, but there are occasional times I will be out of the house for dog walking and cat check ins, but i always make sure to schedule so as not to be out for more than 4 hours. We tend to be homebodies, so if your dogs are fans of movie nights on the couch and DnD campaigns in the backyard, they will have a great time! I also love doing cat check ins, unfortunately we don't offer boarding for kitties because my husband is quite allergic, so I am always up to visit and get some quality cat time, I love getting to know new cats and their individual personalities. I often bring Tom or Eleanor along on check ins with me, so even multiple cats can get double the love! I offer boarding and daycare for medium/small doggos from our home, and we are in a quiet neighborhood which is excellent for walks, and we have several parks in walking distance. I'm not trained as a groomer, but I'm happy to provide baths as needed. If you have any questions about me or other potential services, just let me know!
