I have been around dogs and cats my entire life and I have worked professionally with them for 4 years. I was a dog trainer and pet care associate at PetSmart where I taught dogs of all ages and sizes basic commands and obedience, as well as took care of all the animals from chinchillas to tortoises. I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility supervising safe play, have been pet first aid and CPR certified through PetTech, and am currently a manager at a saltwater aquarium. I can trim cat claws and give oral and topical medication to almost any animal that needs it. I have cared for dogs (big, small, young, and old), cats, fish, reptiles, birds, rodents, and insects! I love going above and beyond with animals! I used to go foraging for local weeds because it was healthier to feed tortoises, and make toys and food cups for the birds or rats I was in charge of. I love spending time with animals be it playing with toys, going for hikes, teaching them tricks, or snuggling on the couch!
