Pet care experience
Besides having grown up with dogs in my household my entire life, being around many small pets, and all of my friends’ pets as well, I have had years of experience in overnight pet sitting as well as casual walks, daycare, and check ins. I also worked at an established dog daycare center located in West Hartford, which has become my favorite job to date.

Katie is wonderful! I have two large, energetic hound rescues that are afraid of strangers- not the easiest dogs to walk! Katie knew exactly how to approach them and win them over. She was always on time, was easy to communicate with, took my dogs on nice long walks, and sent photo updates. My dogs really need someone with a lot of dog knowledge and experience and Katie was excellent!

A typical day
I know of a few easy woods trails for hiking and great paths for typical walks. A great game of fetch and some mental stimulation with food motivated dogs can also be put on the schedule. Tug of war, a good nap when they’re tired, and of course as many pets as possible all included.
