Hello! I'm a gentle, loving dog-mom to 1 yr old lab mix, Chloe and I'm excited to share my love with your pup(s)! I grew up in a very dog-friendly home (AKA a zoo!) am comfortable handling a variety of breeds, both large and small. I occasionally pet-sit for family friends and have experience caring for clients' dogs at a boarding and daycare facility. Services I Provide: DOG WALKING (maximum 2 walks/day) - 30min walk or jog - 1hr walk - 2-3 hr Greenbelt hike. Swimming in the creek is available upon request and only when the weather permits. Your pup's safety is my #1 priority. DROP-IN VISITS - AKA POTTY BREAKS!! Where I can also fill food bowls, administer medicine, indoor/outdoor playtime (I have a few brain games up my sleeve to help tire them out), give a bath or even a nail trim you'd like. This is also a good option if you need any quick "touch-ups" done around the house. Water plants, bring mail inside, take out the trash. If you can think of it, I can most likely do it. Just let me know! - 30 min neighborhood walk - 1 hr neighborhood walk

Katie has a lot of patience with dogs. We have 3 dogs and she has cared for them many times and they love her. She feeds them, takes them on long walks to their favorite creek to swim and play, she bathes them and she is very good in training them too. We trust her explicitly with our home and our dogs.
I met Katie through work, and we actually bonded over our passion for animals. She's always been so responsible and her work ethic is amazing. We once rescued a cat who was struck by a driver on the side of the road. I think this speaks volumes in trusting her as a dog sitter! She also acts like her own dog is a human. I would highly recommend Katie to any animal owner.
There's dog people and there's DOG people....Katie is a DOG girl for sure. She loves them so much and even makes homemade natural treats for her own. She's very responsible and also very caring. Your furry BFF will be in good hands with her :)
Awesome person, and perfectly reliable. I wouldn't choose anyone else! I've had many dog sitters and she's really separated herself from the rest by being so easy to work with, loving with the dogs, and flexible.

There are a few things I would like to know before sitting your dog: - What is your dog's temperament around people and other dogs? Are they are protective with their food, toys or other belongings? In an effort to keep everyone's best interest in mind, I do not work with any dog that has aggressive tendencies. - What are his energy levels like? His typical amount of daily activity? I especially want this information during the summertime and from those requesting walks and jogs. - Any special needs or medications that need to be administered I will need to know. - And last but not least, I want to know the GOOD STUFF! What is your dog's favorite activity, toy, treat, trick to perform? What little quirks do you love about their personality? Anything that helps me get to know them so I can create the best experience for each individual dog. No breed preference- I'm comfortable with all shapes and sizes.
A typical day
I'm centrally located along the Greenbelt with lots of options for activities--play with neighbor friends at the spacious fenced-in dog park on property, hit the greenbelt trails for some hiking and swimming, or take a short 3 minute drive (or mile hike) to play fetch at Zilker Park--to name a few. If your dog just wants some snuggles, then snuggling we will do.
