Hello! My name is Katie, and I am currently in graduate school for my Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I work closely with therapy dog Tuesdays at Pitt on a weekly basis. I have worked with dogs over long periods of time. For example, I started walking a dog over a year ago when he was a tiny puppy, and I still regularly see the pup! I worked on potty training, walking, tricks, and more with the pitbull, german shepard mix. I also have experience with puppy-sitting while a family was on vacation staying in a hotel, dog sitting for 2 dogs while the family was gone for the day, completed 3-4 drop-in visits per day while a family was away, and I walk dogs regularly. I have a lot of experience walking and caring for dogs and love every dog I meet! Please feel free to reach out to me! I'd love to meet you and your pups!

6 out of 5 stars!!! If I could give extra stars I would! Katie and her family were nothing short of spectacular! This was our first time boarding Benny, our 6mo old puppy and we were a little nervous for him. Katie instantly put as at ease showing love for Benny. It was very easy to see she knew what she was doing, and that he was going to be in great hands. She sent us several live photos of him each day of our trip, so we could see how happy he was. He was so happy in each photo that my wife and I jokingly said, “He might not want to come home!” Haha. To add on to how amazing she was: we miscalculated how much dog food was needed, and Benny chewed through his leash. She ran out to get more dog food and a new leash. Overall we could not be happier, and when we need to board Benny again, we won’t be looking anywhere else!
Katie was absolutely wonderful! My little Prince stayed with Katie for two days; she sent pictures and updates regularly ?We were able to meet ahead of time, I knew right away that Prince would be in good hands. He had such a good time. What a wonderful experience. I will definitely schedule with Katie again. I thank her for taking such good care of my little boy.
I felt so at ease knowing Katie was there as specified taking care of our sweet pooches. She did everything we asked of her and then went the extra mile. The photos were so fun and we got a big kick out of passing them around. Well done!
Special needs dog - Katie was excellent and is a true professional. She met my blind "special needs" dog on short notice to accommodate unexpected travel. My dog needs to be approached carefully and handled very differently from most dogs, and Katie followed my instructions to the letter. My dog can be intimidating when he is afraid, and Katie gave him the time and space he needed to interact with her safely and comfortably. Katie managed our visits professionally, ensuring my dog's safety and her own. She realized that his idea of a good interaction might be slightly different than hers, and she adapted her approach to meet his needs. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again and recommend her to friends.
