Pet care experience
For the past eight years, I’ve been providing security and peace-of-mind for numerous (and very dear clients) who are home and pet owners across the Treasure Valley. More specifically around the Mountain Home area, I am blessed with many fellow military, pet owners, as my clientele that never fail to give me the best reviews and “all over Facebook” recommendations. I offer a very positive energy that is comforting to your companions. I have a very strong work ethic and a dedication to animals that gets me up early in the morning, and motivates me to do every chore and give extra snuggles, all in a timely manner.

Katie was very courteous and professional. From the first visit, we knew our pups were in good hands. Our dogs were comfortable with Katie and they had a great time. Katie stopped by the house and ensured our dogs were safe and cared for. Took them for walks and played with them. We highly recommend Katie!!!

Katie was amazing watching my two cats. I have a 10 week old kitten and an adult female who are both naughty and rambunctious and Katie took such great care of them both. It was such a relief to have someone reliable and kind to take care of my fur babies. She’s super sweet, communicates well, and patient with my own nerves. She followed my care instructions to a T. I won’t ask anyone else to watch over my babies.
Katie loves animals and truly enjoys spending time with them. She recognizes needs and can provide care as well as seek professional help when necessary in an emergent situation. She has taken care of our dogs, cats, horses and other livestock over short intervals as well as extended stays. She is trustworthy and punctual. You will be very happy with her service.

At home growing up we had 5 dogs, 4 cats, 8 horses, 8 head of cattle, chickens and turkeys. I am readily available to come by your humble homes and house-sit, dog-sit, stop by to let your four legged friends out and be there to check up on them. As a service to myself, I ask for an honest fair warning if your dogs jump up or show any sort of aggression or excess energy as I have been unlucky to be in the wrong spot when certain dogs have clawed and left substantial bruising on my legs. I’m short, and pretty petite, don’t get me wrong I’m tough but definitely need to keep a safety precaution for myself. I understand mishaps happen, and I’ve been very lucky with very gentle animals - but on the rare occasion just a heads up is super appreciated.

Each pet has their own personality and style and I adapt to your pet’s needs and wants. If they want cuddles, they get cuddles. If they want space, they get space. I provide high quality service and a caring and kind demeanor, my goal is to make both critter and owner happy.
A typical day
I love getting to hear from the owners ahead of time, what their dogs love to do best with them. I know it’s hard being away from our animals, and you want them to feel as if you never left - that’s where I come in to help. I love getting to know your pet’s schedule, hobbies, interests - you name it. I’ve had super laid back clients who just snuggles up to a good movie and the dogs just cuddle me until it’s a big snooze fest; others have very high energy dogs who need to get outside and sniff the air and get all the zoomies out... needless to say I’ve seen all that and everything in between. I ensure a calm and caring experience with each critter, I am there to alleviate any stress or built up energy your pets may have as their favorite people are away.

Availability
Being a military spouse + after serving time in the Idaho Air National Guard I always have a set schedule for myself, which keeps me accountable for planning and getting the most out of each day. I am pretty easy when it comes to any scheduling and opportunities to be a helping hand. Since coming home from Air Force BMT, my passion and feel good job - is not only helping people as much as I can but befriending and caring for animals of all walks of life. I consider myself very laid back, I can be very flexible with accommodating every schedule, I’ve found a lot of success even when tasked with multiple clients and animals at once with a lot of back and forth - but the integrity of my work is always the same. I take pride in the company I keep with all my four legged friends.
