Pet care experience
I've grown up with and cared for very young and active to elderly dogs, and dogs requiring medication or special diets. I enjoy running, so if you're dog needs a running buddy I am happy to bring them along. Also happy to partake in just a casual stroll, game of fetch, or lazy day of belly rubs. If there is a park or hiking trail near by, I am happy to adventure out with them (and check for ticks after). I will be moving to the Boston area at the end of August and usually work during the day but I would be free on weekdays before 8am, have an hour lunch break, and free again after 5:30pm from now until I move. I am available for weeknight and weekend overnights if your family is planning any summer vacations. I am mildly allergic to cats, but am happy to care for them regardless. I also have experience owning and caring for other small animals such as hamsters and rabbits if your family happens to have any other pets in the household.

I've known Katie for about ten years and ever since we've met she's been my best friend. Katie is without a doubt the most kind-hearted, genuine person I have ever met. Not only is she an amazing friend, but she would (and has) dropped everything just to do something kind for a stranger. When I go on vacations, Katie never hesitates to step up and take care of my cat Rolo. She does the litter box, adds food/water to his dish (keeping his dietary needs in mind), and spends time with him. I do not have a dog, but I have seen Katie with them and she is just as loving and compassionate towards them. If you are looking for someone that will go above and beyond for you and your fur babies, Katie is your girl.

A typical day
Happy to explore local parks, hiking trails, and neighborhoods if your dog prefers longer walks or jogging. If they enjoy fetch or playing tug with a favorite toy, I will make sure they are as active as you'd like them to be during the time I care for them.
