Hi! I am a 26 year old San Francisco resident with a love for animals of all kinds, dogs in particular. I grew up with a German Shepherd- Chow Chow mix whom I was inseparable with but also learned a lot from. She had severe aggression issues towards any other animals, dogs specifically and I went through countless training courses with her to try and work through it, giving me an inside look at higher anxiety level dogs and coping mechanisms for them. I was also a full time nanny for a family that adopted an abused puppy whom I fully leash trained, house trained, and worked with long enough that she finally learned to trust people again. Both of these experiences only allowed my love for dogs to grow by watching what love and hard work can accomplish in helping better these animals lives. I do not currently have a dog because my apartment restricts it, which is why I joined this site!
