In high school I took a two year, 900 hour animal science course focusing mainly on house pets. Since high school I've worked in an animal hospital, boarding facilities, and grooming shops. I truly understand why people would choose to keep their dogs at home with a pet sitter rather than board them. There are various reasons such as health, behavioral, and age as to why people choose to not board their dogs. While are these are valid reasons in themselves, the real reason most people choose a pet sitter is to keep their pets as comfortable as possible in their own environment. I strive to give every pet parent the peace of mind that I'll provide the same level of love and compassion for their fur babies as they do. I can provide an excellent level of care for all pets, although working in an animal hospital and other professional animal care-taker roles has given me more insight and understanding on caring for pets with more advanced needs. Whether that means caring for a new pup or a senior pal, a pet that has medical needs such as diabetes, or pets that may need a little extra attention due to behavior issues. While I cannot offer 100% availability, I do have a fairly flexible schedule and make earnest effort to work to accommodate yours. I strive to maintain whatever routine you already have set up with your furry little pals. I do my best to make sure that your pet will be happy while you're away!
