My name is Katie and I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Early and Primary Childhood Education from The University of Scranton. I grew up with many different kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds, and even a rabbit! Growing up surrounded by so many animals has really fostered my love of animals. Dogs have always been particularly close to my heart, having had Jessie, my golden retriever/shepherd, by my side for 15 loving years and my Pomeranian, Fuzz, for 13 years. I also have ample experience with cats. I have my own 6 month year old cat, Colby, and I have experience cat-sitting as well. I am a teacher; therefore, ideal times for me to care for your pet during the school year would be after 3:30pm and I am available on weekends. In the summer, I’m almost always available! In the past, I furthered my experience with dogs by volunteering at my local animal shelter in the kennels. I’m delighted and eager to spend my spare time surrounded by the pure love and innocence of animals! I’m looking forward to establishing a bond with your pup or cat!
