I have literally done it ALL in the world of dogs. I am a former k9 cop, dog trainer, dogsitter, dog rescuer and foster mom, dog breeder and just about everything in between ! Dogs are my passion and I hate leaving my babies so I’m glad to care for yours if you have to leave them ! My focus is balance and honoring their k9 needs and I think you’ll find that your pet has a wonderful experience hanging here with my pack. We are new to Augusta so don’t hesitate to reach out if you need care for your pup. I have (very friendly) small dogs, so while we can watch (small) puppies here, large breed puppies probably aren’t a great fit for our setup. I do have 3 separate play yards if you have a dog you need to board who isn’t super dog friendly. Thanks and have a blessed day !!

First off, Katie is a seasoned dog expert! Her knowledge of dogs in general is impressive! Katie has pup sat both my chihuahuas and my golden doodle. She kept me informed about their well being the entire trip and was willing to answer anytime I checked in! I KNEW my dogs were not only safe but were also being loved on while I was away! I won’t leave my furbabies anywhere else! 10/10!
Katie was a great help with our dog. She boarded and trained her at her house and made her feel at home. She has a way with animals. Our dog was shy and had anxiety. she came back a different dog - braver and more confident.
I’m sorry to say that we did not have a good experience with Rover.com or Katie this past weekend. We needed to leave town because of a death in our family. The following day we were told our two dogs were not a good fit for the rest of the pack, with no incident, but potential. The day after, we were asked to find another place to house our dogs. That is ok, but trying to find someone else to take your pets when your 10 hours away and in the middle of a family death was very stressful and not very professional. Rover support was NOT very supportive. We placed our trust in Katie and the Rover system and that trust was broken. I believe this entire situation could have been handled better.
Katie is awesome! Brooke totally enjoyed her stay. I received regular updates on how she was doing, which is a plus! Her first time away from us made me pretty uneasy, but Katie assured she'd be just fine. And with this being a last minute decision, she was able to accommodate our needs! Thanks so much!
