Hi my name is Katie and I love all animals, but have a real soft spot for dogs. I would love to help others that need help with their dogs while they're at work or away. I understand how stressful it can be trying to find someone to watch your pet and want to help by providing the love that the dog would have from their own owner. You and your dog will love me because I am so passionate about pet care. I have been volunteered with a rescue for several years and have fostered dogs of all ages--from 6 week old puppies to older dogs. Over time I have learned a lot over time of how to deal with different breeds and personalitie - shy or outgoing nothing phases me. I have administered injections, given medication and have even taken care of a special needs dog. I work from home, have a very flexible schedule, and I am very reliable . I have had 4 dogs, but currently only have two. I'm also well versed in looking after animals with unique needs. My last dog passed away from a neurological disorder as well as a liver shunt. He was unable to walk and I had to help him around to use the bathroom. He also had to be on seizure medication and had to be hand fed so I am very familiar with them. I am comfortable walking stronger dogs that are more difficult to walk and am comfortable with all breeds of dogs. If I sound like a good fit, please reach out to me! I offer additional services free of charge while you are away such as collecting mail, bringing in packages, taking out trash - pretty much anything that helps in addition to taking care of your pets while you are gone. I work from home with a flexible job so I am able to do drop in visits at anytime. Dogs are never left alone for an extended period of time. Every pet is treated as if they were my own, I love taking pictures and putting the owners at ease when they are away. I follow the schedule that the pet owner recommends to ensure the animal has as much routine as possible.
