Hi! I currently have an energetic 2 year old yellow lab who we adopted when she was 6 months. I always grew up with labs and knew I wanted to have one when I was living on my own. Growing up, I frequently dog sat for friends and family in my neighborhood. My experience ranges from quickly letting them out to do their business to taking them on hikes when time allows. I love taking my dog on long walks and playing fetch with her as well. I am able to administer medication orally as well as taking care of minor illnesses (such as cleaning out ear infections).

Katie has taken care of my two English labs, Rudy & Ollie, with an exceptional care. Katie would dog sit while we were out on vacation and is always willing to help. She's always on time, reliable, and the dogs adore her. Katie is the perfect dog sitter and there has never been an issue once. I would highly recommend her to take care of your dogs.

I typically crate my pup when away from the house for more than 30-45 minutes. Whatever the client requests for their dog’s comfortably and safety is what will be offered.

Let me know if there are any behaviors I should be aware of before taking your dog out of their home environment. Keeping them safe is my number one priority and I always want them handled in the way their owners do. I typically don’t let my dog greet others on leash to avoid any negative reactions that could come up, regardless of how friendly she is or the other dog claims to be, but knowing how the pet is towards humans and dogs would be great to know.
A typical day
I love taking my dog for hikes, so I would love to do the same for your dog - whether that be a pack walk with my pup being handled by someone else or taking long walks in the neighborhood. Stimulating the pup mentally, physically, and also allowing them to get their social media time in with smells in the area will be my goal!

I currently work at a full time job, but my hours are not bankers hours, so it allows plenty of time in the morning or night to take care of your pets.
