Pet care experience
I’m a nurse which means I only work 3 days a week, leaving me free time to walk (or jog with) your dog on days I don’t work. My days off change each week, but on days I’m off I am very flexible with my time. I grew up taking care of neighbors’ dogs when they were out of town and my family had a cat. I also volunteered at the local animal shelter one summer during my undergrad days. I had a brief stint with a local dog walking company that summer as well. I am happy to walk dogs of any size or breed! I enjoy walking the trails near the James River and would love to take your dog along for the adventure!

Katie grew up with animals and has always had a close personal connection with them. She could even give her cat a bath. She displays the same patience and compassion for her four legged friends as she does for her medical patients. A nanny for 2+ years, she has outstanding nurturing skills – whether canine, feline or human. Plus she’s always on time and dependable.
