Katie took great care of our 2 cats while we were away for 3 weeks. For trips that long we would normally leave the cats with family, but we had just moved here from Alabama a couple of weeks beforehand so that wasn't an option. I was nervous to leave them in the care of someone I didn't know, but after meeting Katie I was impressed with her professionalism and obvious love for animals. One of our cats is very nervous around strangers but he warmed up to Katie way faster than I expected. She was very gentle and patient with him which I appreciated so much. Every day Katie sent us really cute photos and notes and I could see how much the cats both enjoyed spending time with her. She played with them so much their feather toy got completely worn out (which I definitely don't mind)! Some of the things Katie did to take care of the cats were beyond what I expected - along with feeding the cats and playing with them, she also washed the bowls every day using the dishwasher, scooped the litter box, watered all of my houseplants, took in the mail and packages, and even took the trash can to the curb on trash days. She even messaged me to ask where I kept the vacuum cleaner after she noticed that our living room rug had fur on it!

Katie is amazing! Our planned sitter fell through at the last second for one of the days we would be gone, and it was our first time leaving our newly adopted cat for the weekend so we were a bit nervous. Katie responded quickly on very short notice and put us at ease right away. She went above and beyond in caring for our extremely energetic cat, and we loved receiving updates and pictures. She even told us that our cat loved playing with a specific toy - which we know is her favorite, so clearly she spent time getting to know our kitty and giving her lots of quality attention! I'm so grateful we found Katie, and will be booking her whenever we go out of town.
