Pet care experience
It’s been one of my life’s greatest joys to parent my cat (Ned) and pup (Autumn). While my own animals are quite mellow, I’ve had experience with more energetic animals after living and caring for a husky, a German Shepard, and a panther-like cat. While I’m technically new to pet sitting exclusively, I’ve nannied for years and pets have always been part of the equation. The emotional support animals provide is such a special gift and it will be an honor to care for your fur babes.

As a first-time dog mom, I was hesitant to hire someone to walk my pup, Rugger, for me while being at work or school. However, I knew that running home for quick potty breaks when I could wasn’t enough – or fair – for Rugger. After meeting with Katie, I knew that she would be a great match for our energetic pup (and his nervous mom). Since hiring Katie, she has been nothing but friendly and reliable. So much so, I hired her to watch our furry feline friend while away! (Which may not have been a great idea only because now our cat bugs us to give him as much attention as Katie gives when she visits!) If you are looking for someone who is great with dogs and cats and is friendly and always reliable – I’d recommend hiring Katie! Five paws all the way!
Katie herself is a loving and responsible dog and cat owner. I highly recommend Katie for your pet needs. She is knowledgeable about pet care, will follow your instructions, and make sure your pets are well taken care of. Katie is responsive, and will get back to you in a timely manner, as well as delivers a high quality of care for your fur babies.
Katie is a fellow dog mom who loves her fur babies! My new pup took to her the moment they met because of Katie’s genuine demeanor. Our dogs are the best of friends, and I would whole heartedly trust Katie to take care of my pup without question.

I love little more than a clean space so I’ll be sure to leave your space tidy and organized! I’m happy to accommodate any requests you make (please ask!)…crating your pet, cleaning their dishes between feedings, wiping their paws after walks and potty breaks, making sure the litter is fresh! I’ve had mixed experiences using Rover myself so I aim to leave your space in a manner I would approve. :)

Please let me know what type of walk your pup prefers (a short walk, a long walk, or even a strenuous hike) and how they cope with the heat. Do they need to wear booties or walk before sunrise or after sunset? I’d also appreciate specific feeding instructions (any special meds or supplements?). Lastly, tell me ALL the fun facts, your preferences, as well as your fur babes preferences. :)
A typical day
I frequently take walking breaks during the day —along the green belt, canal, and in Papago—and I always appreciate having company! There’s nothing better than snuggling my pets at night after an active day in the sun! I’m an early riser, so during the “summer” months I get up at sunrise (or before) to get in a strenuous walk before the heat settles in. I also love taking my pup to the dog park and would be happy to take your fur babe either with us or alone.

I work from home so I’m readily available to attend to your pet’s needs throughout the work day. Animal breaks are my favorite! I’m also an early riser so can stop by before (or after) work.
