Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Katie and I am from Pelham, Alabama. I am a recent graduate from Auburn University, and I am in the Birmingham area starting my nursing career! I am planning to start working at UAB in the Emergency Department. I have the most experience staying with animals if you were to travel for a few days, but I am open to care for your pet in any way. I have been pet setting for a number of years now and have the most experience with dogs and cats. I have one cat myself! I love spending time with each animal I get to meet; I hope to get to meet you and your pet(s) soon!

Katie did an awesome job! She bonded with my 2 cats on day one, and sent lots of sweet pictures. She’s a very responsible and hardworking young lady.
Katie did an excellent job taking care of my boys! She is quick to respond to messages and I was able to add an extra drop-in visit last minute. It was clear from the pictures she sent that Gus and Milo were comfortable with Katie. I’ll definitely be booking with her again the next time I go out of town.

A typical day
I love being as active as much as your fur baby can handle. I am comfortable with running long distances or just going for a short walk around your neighborhood or downtown at Railroad Park during the day time.

Availability
I work full time as a nurse at St. Vincent’s. I do not work 4 days out of the week after I have worked my 3 12 hour shifts, so I have a lot of availability!
