Hi I’m Katie and I love all animals. I have 4+ years experience managing a dog kennel. I also own 12 personal dogs of different breeds from a Great Dane to a mini schnauzer. So I am open to watching multi dog homes and have many times! I also own 2 cats, a snake, and 4 axolotls. I foster dogs occasionally as well and have experience with “harder” dogs. I have trained for agility, obedience, dock diving, scentwork, and basic manners. I can distribute medication including insulin and have experience with dogs being fed a raw or home cooked diet. I like to do lots of play and walks with dogs that are allowed it. I always recommend a meet and greet before I pet sit to see how me and your fur kids interact. My own dogs love to go swimming in a local waterhole. I love dogs of all breeds but Boxers definitely have my heart. I’d love to come meet your pups!

Katie was a wonderful sitter for our pups! She stayed at our house while we were away for the holidays and took care of our two dogs perfectly. She was professional, kind, responsive and so sweet, giving our pups the love and snuggles they demanded while we were away. Upon meeting her and chatting during our meet and greet, you can tell that she is an animal lover. We loved getting pictures from her throughout the week with updates and were so impressed to return to happy, excited doggies and a clean house. We will absolutely be using her again! 😊

I will make sure your pups are supervised during all outside time and walked when appropriate/needed. All house rules will be followed such as if pets are allowed on couches and bed they can sit with me to their hearts content! Feeding and medication are given on schedule. I make sure to help your pets feel comfortable while you are away.

Please let me know if any special instructions with your dogs ahead of time such as allergies, routines, special needs, medications, etc. If your dog has any specific behavior issues please notify such as dogs not liking men, other dogs, etc.
A typical day
I like to keep your fur kids stimulated and busy. This includes neighborhood walks, games of fetch, kongs, and other funny activities they enjoy. For dogs who enjoy swimming I am open to taking them to a few local swimming places to let loose for a bit.

I work a full time job so I always make sure to fit my schedule around yours. I am available most days after 1pm. I am completely free most Thursdays and Sundays.
