I am 33 years old and enjoying life. I currently work as an Emergency/ICU CVT (certified veterinary technician) at a wonderful 24 hour Emergency Animal Hospital. I have been a CVT for 12 years and before finishing school I was a dog walker for 6 years. I have over a decade of experience providing care and treatment to all type of animals. I love caring for healthy pets as well as sick pets including: Diabetics, Thyroid disease, post surgery, geriatric, special needs, and that wonderful puppy stage. Also very experienced in providing care to animals in need of immediate medical attention, such as, first-aid or CPR. I love what I do and love taking care of other peoples fur babies. I would love to be able to help you in your time of need.

Katie took care of our two dogs over Christmas and did a fantastic job. The dogs loved her and she kept us updated with photos and videos the whole time. Very professional and I knew my dogs were in good hands the whole time.
Katie is great! Best pet sitter I've had. I wouldn't have anyone else. She always goes above and beyond. Her knowledge of animals makes me feel at ease when leaving my geriatric dog (chicken).
Katie was amazing with our senior dog while we were out of town for a long weekend. She kept us updated and was very nurturing and caring and knowledgeable about the special concerns of older dogs.
Katie was awesome! She came by before our scheduled pet sitting to meet our dogs and cat and she was very attentive to administering medications and regular feeding and walking schedules. She sent updates through the week which was great as well! We will definitely be using Katie again in the future!

Just a little extra info: On my work days I am available for drop-ins and walks anytime before and after my shift. On my days off I am available anytime that is needed. My schedule varies week to week but don't hesitate to contact me to check my availability.
A typical day
I love to be outside. On a hot day we love to play in the baby pool out back with some fun pool toys. On a cooler summer day I would love to take them on a hike. If your dog is not a pro on the trails we will do something simple. Plus, if my dogs are joining us on the trails they can show them the ropes. They are pretty much professionals when it comes to outdoors activities. If outdoors is not your dogs idea of fun that's ok. I love a good reason to snuggle up on the couch with them and have a relaxing day.
