Pet care experience
I'm an animal lover and advocate. I have had pets of all kinds since I was born, so over 30 years of experience! I currently have two fur children of my own: an 11 1/2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, and a 7 1/2 year old Golden Retriever. My GSP has arthritis, allergies, and separation anxiety so I'm accustomed to giving medications, along with having the patience and understanding for all types of dog personalities and attention/needs. I have also helped care for a variety of senior dogs and puppies. I am an artist, who works from home full-time, so my schedule is fortunately very flexible. My house has an open concept, so I'm able to keep an eye on the pups at all times. I'm an active dog parent, so whether your dog would like to lounge around or play outside, they will get the care they need. I have a backyard with trees lining the back and one side with two dogs who love it. For warm weather I have nice shade and a little kid pool to fill. I have two large kennels that can be utilized or used for kennel training.

Katie was great with our two golden puppies! She was there when asked and even helped with cleaning the ear of our dog who had an infection while she was watching him.

WOW!!! Katie was the best dog sitter. She had our precious Carmella only 1 year old rescued dog from Kentucky "Or wild chocolate lab that always wants attention" for 5 days. This was Carmella's first time away from us and she had a blast to say the least. Katie was able to keep Carmella on her feeding schedule while we were gone and even kept us in the loop by sending pictures/ videos of how she was DAILY or even a couples times a day "We loved getting updates". I am pretty sure Carmella missed us but was said to leave Katie and her furry kids "Carmell's best friends." I would highly recommend Katie to anyone that is looking for a dog sitter she is the best of the best. Treats every new furry friend like they were her own.
