Pet care experience
Most of my life revolves around caring for animals. Besides the three dogs, three cats, two chinchillas, guinea pig, and assortment of reptiles and amphibians living at my house, I also work with animals full time at a nearby wildlife park. No animal is too big, too small, or too crazy for me. Your peace of mind and your pet's happiness are a top priority. I will be happy to complete any task you need, from walking to bathing to cleaning to watering plants. As I mentioned before, I own several reptiles and amphibians, so I am also accustomed to their specific type of care. I hope to meet your adorable companion soon!

Katie was fantastic with our 12 year old Labrador. He needs some special care, and Katie was the best. She stayed in touch, sent pictures, alerted us to a potential medical need, and stayed when we were arriving home a little late. We would absolutely ask Katie to watch Jack again!!! She is a gem.

I love to snuggle with animals, so your pet will get all the love it needs and more. I will make sure your pet gets frequent bathroom breaks, and should an accident occur I have lots of experience cleaning up messes. I like to check on my reptiles/amphibians several times a day and will have no problem doing so for yours.

Before sitting for any animal, I would like to know their regular schedule, such as when they eat, when they like to sleep, and how often they need a bathroom break. Knowing a little bit about their personality would also be helpful so I can interact and love on them in a way that is most beneficial to them. I would also like to know if they have any medications, and if so when to administer the medication.
A typical day
I love to go walking or hiking with dogs, as most Flagstaff natives do. Playing fetch, tug-of-war, or just running around the backyard will be no problem, and I love training animals too. I like to go birding at Lake Mary and would be happy to take your dog(s) along.

Availability
I'm currently working full-time from Friday to Tuesday, 8-4:30. I can stay at your house every night you need and would love to care for your pet in the morning and late afternoon/evening. Wednesdays and Thursdays I will have plenty of time to give your pets extra attention and do some extra fun activities.
