Pet care experience
I will care for your dog or cat like they are my own. I have had a passion and love for animals since I was a child growing up with a golden retriever. I can’t wait to meet, play with, and take care of your pet! My dream is to have my own animal so rover is giving me the chance to spend time with animals that I wouldn’t get to care for otherwise. If you have any questions feel free to ask me I am happy to answer. The cat you see was my roommates and he was my everything; he and his owner now live in CA. I am so thankful I can spend time with animals again in his absence. I joke that he surfs now in CA. I am available currently weekday afternoons anytime after 430pm and I’m very open to weekends anytime or overnight so please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Katie is great! She loves my cats and my friend's dog, which make me feel confident when leaving my pets to her. I have two cats at home that she feeds, pet, and play with every time I'm too busy at work that I don't have enough time to spend with my babies. I also have asked her to feed and walk one of my friend's dogs, and Katie does it great. By this point, the puppy recognizes her and get super excited. I absolutely recommend her services.

For me it is vital to know a pets general temperament first. How do they react to new people? What makes them most anxious? How do they react to other animals when on leash in the neighborhood? What calms them down or makes them feel most comfortable?
A typical day
I prefer to take dogs for walks to parks so they have grass we can jog on and more room to roam. I live by Lincoln Park and have taken dogs there. It’d be wonderful if the dog enjoys playing fetch but massaging behind their ears I can surely do too!
