I would like to know breed, age, and general temperament. I enjoy all dogs in all different sizes, from little Yorkshire Terriers to German Shepherds! I do have one request if you choose to have your dog stay with me in my apartment, and that is if your dog is high energy (like mine), they must be able to obey basic commands. The important ones are sit, stay, and down, and most importantly "no". Out of control behavior, such as leaping all over furniture (cuddling on the couch is encouraged but rough housing is not), excessive barking, destructive behavior, etc. isn't something that's fun for myself, and my neighbors, to deal with. The only exception to this rule are puppies (who if old enough should know basic commands) and older dogs who spend most of their time sleeping anyways.

I just moved to a very dog friendly apartment steps from the Eastern Promenade in Portland, Maine. Great location for early morning walks, playtime, and swimming. Being a dog groomer, I work in an environment where I can have dogs come to work with me! This works especially well with puppies and older dogs who need to be let out frequently, and also for dogs who are social and love to be around other canines. Sleep locations, feeding schedule, exercise routines, and time spent alone are all completely up to you. I understand how important it is to keep a dog's routine as similar as possible if the dog is away from his/her family and home.
