I work from home, so if someone is staying with me, I'm around most of the day. When I leave, my pup goes in his crate. Anyone I babysit in my home would need to be crate trained as well. I have an extra crate that I use for visitors, so you wouldn't need to bring one if you didn't want to haul it. I also use indoor cameras (Furbo & Ring) to keep an eye on everyone when I am out of the house. When going to someone's home, I understand the trust and responsibility that pet parents are putting on me. I will let them know when I'm coming and going. I also send photos of their pet while they are away. I always want pet parents to feel comfortable and that their loved one is safe and cared for.
