Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs all my life so I am really comfortable with all (small, medium, large). I have dog sat for my neighbor's Westie (in Chicago) since I can remember. My dad has a Shitzu mix and my mom has a Bernese Mountain dog, and I grew up with an Irish Terrier. Overall, I have a kind yet assertive presence with dogs. I do Rover over the summers since I am a teacher during the school year. I teach elementary at a DCPS school so I am used to working on my feet and being very caring. I will be kind and loving to your dog! I have much experience with dog sitting. I have been on Rover since it first started and will continue to be dog sitting as long as I can! :)

I don't have a breed preference! I would just like to know about any medical issues or disabilities. I also like to know how they are on walks, if they are okay to socialize with other dogs or not.
A typical day
I am very energetic and exercise a lot so I will have energy to take them anywhere! I live in the U St area and there is a dog park very close to me that I frequent, with your permission of course.
