My love for pet care first started when I got a guinea pig in high school. I became obsessed with learning every possible thing I could about my new pet. I eventually worked at a pet store in the animal care position, where I cared for a variety of small animals, reptiles, and fish. I worked there for 2 years. Through that experience I met a nice lady with a gecko, who kindly requested that I petsit her lizard over the holidays. I ended up doing that several years in a row. On multiple occasions I’ve cared for my friend’s ferrets in my home for extended periods of time. My most recent pet care experience, outside of my own pets of course, is the few clients I’ve had here on Rover!
