Hey there! I’m Katie and I’m a lover of all things animals and new to Rover! You should know I have experience walking dogs from tiny terriers to big strong pitties. I joined this service to combine my two loves, animals and getting outdoors! I work part time at a hospital as a Respiratory Therapist making myself available during the week to give your best friend the proper attention, time, exercise and love they deserve. I have lived in Fort Myers for a 6 months now, originally from Chicago and looking forward to meeting you! I have a cat and dog of my own that I love more than life itself. I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart that you can trust your pet will be safe and loved with me.

My number one goal is to never stress the animal. Your pet is a cuddler? Awesome, I will give all the love. Your pet is anxious and needs space? I respect the animal and give them time to adjust. I want to stick with their routine as much as possible.

I have no breed preference, I love every type of dog in every size, shape, and personality. If anxiety is an issue or issues with other animals has come up, that is something I would prefer to know so I can approach our walks the smoothest way possible. Other than that you can put your trust in me!
A typical day
If you have a certain preference for location in your neighborhood or a certain park you like to walk to that’s great. Otherwise I like to keep it safe as I get to know your dog and stick with walks close to home. I have experience walking with leaders, harnesses, and muzzles. I would also like to add in that I run marathons, so you can be assured your dog will be on active, fun walks—toys encouraged if that’s their thing! I also bring along water bowls, if I get thirsty I know they will be too.
