I’ll treat your pets as I treat/spoil my own to ensure they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away :) I am a life-long dog owner. I have been caring for other peoples' pets for 20 years through daily check-ins, walking, sitting, boarding, and training. I have worked at a doggy daycare & boarding facility and was able to take courses studying dogs’ breed specific behavior and body language. Throughout the years I have had experience with puppies to senior dogs, 5-200lb dogs, all activity levels, and lots of breeds. I am able to administer medications orally, eye/ear drops, through injection, etc. I own two former shelter dogs. An extremely friendly boxer/lab/chow mix and an Akita/golden/chow mix. They’ll both play or be friends with anyone. I will take excellent care of your fur baby, like they are my own. :) They’ll get tons of attention and affection. I live in Indianapolis (Broad Ripple) and am willing to travel in/around the city to take care of you dog or have a meet and greet to make sure you and your dog are okay with me stopping by or staying.

Katie did an absolutely fantastic job taking care of our beloved dog Kimchi and our two adorable cats, Bear and Bowie. Katie's dedication and love for animals were evident from the moment she stepped into our home. Not only did Katie take care of their basic needs, such as feeding and walking, but she went above and beyond to make sure they felt safe and secure. She maintained a consistent routine for them, which helped to minimize any anxiety or stress they might have experienced in our absence. Communication was also a strong suit of Katie's. She provided us with regular updates and photos, giving us peace of mind knowing that our furry family members were in good hands. Upon returning home, we found our pets to be in excellent spirits, well-groomed, and content. It was evident that Katie had formed a genuine bond with them during her stay, and they were sad to see her go. In summary, we cannot recommend Katie enough as a house sitter and pet sitter. Her passion for animals, professionalism, and exceptional care make her the ideal choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy assistance. Katie was very communicative and the dogs seemed to love her! I didn’t have to wonder how they were doing and when I got home, they seemed content. Arya actually socialized for 10 minutes and promptly went back to bed. This shows that she was well cared for. Koda was all puppy but he also calmed down pretty quickly and settled in for sleep at night. I would totally book Katie again.
Katie took care of our three pets, two of whom take prescriptions, and one of whom had tummy issues while we were gone. Katie took care of them like a pro, as always!

I can walk them, let them outside, etc. I will make sure they get plenty of time to stretch their legs, eat, and play. :) I am able to administer any medications as well. I am familiar with most alarm systems and will check your mail, water plants if needed, etc.

I will need to know feeding schedule, visit frequency, any medications, supplements, or allergies. I also want to know any behavior quirks they may have or any daily rituals they have, now matter how odd they might be. ;) Dogs are creatures of habit so the more I know the better! I will be as patient as I need to be, I’ve had to sit and ignore dogs with a treat nearby for 20 minutes to lure them to me and make them feel comfortable. I’m not above begging lol so they’ll be well cared for even if they’re a little weirded out by new people.
A typical day
I will make sure they get lots of outside time and can take them on walks or play with them in the yard. I always have training treats on me. :)

I am available every day of the week with flexible hours. I work from home so I can check in as often as you’d like and be sure your babies get plenty of love and exercise.
