Pet care experience
We have an Australian Shepherd family dog named Cubby. I am at currently at home full time. Dogs must be good with children, we have two daughters (2 & 5) who are very confident with dogs and love being around them. I don't have any professional dog care experience but have owned a dog all my life, we have generally had medium sized dogs in the family so size is not an issue for me. I am flexible with what I am available to help with, as being a dog owner and living away from family I understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust to look after your pooch the way you would at home. I needed day care for my labrador Bess for two weeks while I was working in Canterbury. I live in Folkestone so Katie's location in Bridge was convenient. Katie and her family were brilliant in looking after Bess during each day enabling me to relax and focus on work. Katie has two young children so it helped that Bess is very affectionate with everyone especially children. Occasionally I had to work later than I planned and Katie was fine with this. If Bridge is anywhere near you then I would highly recommend Katie.
