Hi, I’m Katie! I grew up in New Jersey with a Black Lab Mix named Betsy, and a Beagle Mix named Bailey. I started dog sitting with my family-friend’s Great Dane, which led to walking and sitting dogs of all personalities, shapes and sizes (from a Great Dane to Yorkies). Since then, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters in New Jersey, NYC and West Virginia and have been professionally dog walking for 6 years. I would love to make your pup happy while walking, sitting or boarding. I will treat your dog as if they were my own, and hope to give you both a great Rover experience!

Katie was great with Alec! It was evident that she genuinely cared about his comfort and had compassion for his separation anxiety. I was 100% comfortable leaving him with her and that is not my norm. We had a brief meet and greet before their first time together and she asked lots of questions and was very observant of his behavior while we chatted...things like noticing his ears perking up in response to little noises in the apartment complex and saying she would put on a white noise machine to help him relax. It was a brief stay and they just snuggled on the couch and watched - what appears to be in the photos - John Mulaney's comedy special. Alec LOVES John Mulaney! How did she know?!? ? 5 stars ? ? ? ? ? and 2 enthusiastic paws up ?!
Shinzou had a great time and he was very calm and relaxed when we picked him up. Katie took good care of him and handled him just like family. Shinzou and his parents, say - Thank you!

I love to walk dogs to the nearest park or dog beach! I work from home and have the flexibility to take care of your dogs needs whether that means a walk, play time or anything else your dog enjoys. I’m also a runner, so if your dog enjoys running I’m happy to take them on a run!
