24/7 Caring home away from home 🐾

Pet care experience

I am a professional sitter and casual trainer with over a decade of experience handling dogs of various age and size. I understand how stressful it can be finding the right person to take care of your animal. Look no farther, I'm here so you can feel at ease while you're apart. Having raised three dogs of my own, I believe that our pets are just as special as any member of our family. I also go on trips where I can't take them so I know how it feels having to leave them in someone else’s care. Your dog will go home from their little vacation happy and relaxed just like their mommy/daddy. Just bring their food and favorite bedding, then we’ll take care of the rest. :)

This is our 4th time booking with Katie and we can't say enough great things about her! We had a wedding over Labor Day weekend and getting home was a challenge to say the least. Katie was very accommodating since it took us two extra days to finally get home! We knew our dogs were in the best hands which made a very stressful situation much less so!

Katie is so good! My German Sheppard mix feels right at home with her. Subi is a great play mate as well and helped my dog have a buddy while he stayed with Katie. We will definitely be returning!

We used Katie for a second time and she didn't disappoint! The dogs were excited to see her and we felt very comfortable leaving them with her for a much needed getaway!

Our home is spacious and puppy-proofed with quiet areas for lounging, long hallways for fetch & tug, a fenced-in backyard to play tag, a peaceful neighborhood to stroll through, and a couple nearby parks with big grassy areas. We also live next to dog-friendly nature trails with different routes to explore. Our family of five all work from home and will be happy to keep your fur baby company wherever they want to hang out. Food is safely stored and fresh water is always available. Your dog will always be on leash outdoors and supervised their entire stay. Our dogs are on flea, tick, and heartworm medication and current on all their vaccinations. Our resident cats stay upstairs behind closed doors. We understand anything they can reach is up for grabs so we hide practically everything except their toys, and even that we hide sometimes. We look forward to sharing our love and providing lots of healthy fun for your furball. Feel free to ask me anything, I’ll respond as soon as I can! If you'll like regular updates, get ready for cute pictures of your fluffybutt. *Daycare hours: 8:30am-5:30pm. Boarding drop-off/pickup hours: 11am-7pm. (Late fee past contracted time is $10 per 15 minutes. Late fee past closing time is $1 per minute. Please inquire for outside normal hours.) *According to Rover’s T.O.S, the insurance policy for a night of boarding covers up to 24 hours.

Information Katie L. would like to know about your pet

1. What is your daily routine with your dog? 2. Where does your dog like to sleep at night? 3. What is your dog’s favorite activity or play style? Is there a type of dog or behavior from another dog that your dog might not like? 4. When does your dog tend to bark or vocalize? 5. Does your dog guard toys or food? 6. Is there any health or behavioral issues? (Allergies, Separation anxiety, Leash reactivity) Is there anything that triggers or scares your dog? 7. Is your dog on flea/heartworm medication? 8. Is your dog up to date on vaccinations? 9. Has your dog boarded before and how did he do? 10. Might your dog pull on leash? These questions are just for me to get to know you and your pet better in order to provide the best possible care. I want to be prepared and have everything set up specifically for your dog. Feel free to provide as much information as you’ll like. I’ll be available for any questions you may have as well. Thank you. My intake evaluation form: https://forms.gle/bZem83wKuKqXXKMm6

A typical day

Our home is your pet's home and someone is always home! When your baby stays with us, they have our full attention and care. I want them to have the best time here so naturally their safety is number one. Making sure our furry pal is comfortable and happy is of utmost importance. When the weather is nice, we try to soak up the sun as much as we can. We get to hike beautiful sceneries since we live right next to different trails. Throughout the years, I saw how mental stimulation and exercise contributes to their well-being and happiness. Daycare here includes a full day of playtime including hour long hikes or longer if your pup has energy to venture on. Each animal is unique and I want to cater to your pet's specific needs. If your dog is a little shy or just likes chilling indoors, there's multiple couches to nap and cuddle on. Whatever your pup needs, we’re here for them. *Boarding drop-off/pickup hours: 11am-8pm. (Late fee past scheduled time is $10 after the 5 minute grace period. Late fee after 8pm is $1/minute. Please inquire for outside normal hours.) *According to Rover’s T.O.S, the insurance policy for a night of boarding covers up to 24 hours.
