Attentive + Loving Pet Sitter
Pet care experience
Hey there! I am a life-long dog lover with extensive high-volume dog boarding experience. While a pet is in my care, I strive to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and safe. I'm an active person who loves to be outside with my visitors playing fetch! One of the most rewarding things about being a Rover sitter is all the time spent lounging with cuddly pups! I've previously volunteered with The Seattle Pug Rescue and Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League fostering and walking dogs. I am committed to giving your dog the attention and care he or she needs. I am looking forward to meeting your furry family member! *New Clients only* $20 off your first booking with any sitter! We love bringing our dog to Katie! Lots of updates and she comes back tired ❤️
Katie is a phenomenal pet sitter. She remembered watching our dog a few years ago and was happy to take her back for the holidays. Goldy was comfortable walking into her home like she was never away. Katie cared for our dog as if she was her own and made sure to send lots of photos of her having fun and being loved. We would 100% recommend her and will definitely keep using her in the future. It’s totally worth the drive down from Seattle knowing how well Katie cares for our dog.
Katie does a great job with our dog! I have a German shepherd who has lots of energy to burn, Katie let's her run around and play with other dogs and she always comes home tired and happy!
Katie is amazing and took such good care of my puppers! I will definitely be reaching out next I need a sitter!!!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my top priority so any dog showing aggression will be separated. Dogs will be fed separately for safety. Please bring your dogs crate with you at drop off. All dogs must be crated or separated in the event that I’m away. I do not accept dogs that howl or cry in their crates. Im unable to host dogs with anxiety issues unless under control with medication. Males over 1 year old must be fixed. Please have your dogs Rover profile filled out and up to date with care instructions and vet info. I do not require meet and greets, but usually have the flexibility to set up a meeting if you’d prefer. All dogs are required to wear a collar with ID tag, tightened. Since we spend many hours of the day outside playing, your dog may get dirty. Baths are available before your dog is picked up for an additional $30 for small breeds 30 lbs or less and $45 for large breeds payable Venmo or cash.

Information Katie L. would like to know about your pet
The more details, the better! I would like to know your dogs daily routine, including sleeping and bathroom schedule. Let me know about your dogs temperament and energy level. I only accept dogs that are house broken, neutered, and comfortable/friendly around other dogs. They must be up to date with all shots, including Distemper, Parvo, Rabies, and Bordetella. Flea preventative is preferred. Please bring your dogs kennel if you normally kennel them when you aren’t home. If your dog has medication needs, please bring an instruction sheet. Please note if your dog has any of the following: Separation anxiety, food aggression, health issues, chewing habits, triggers, or fear of strangers. Out of respect for neighbors, barking must be kept to a minimum. Bring enough food for the entire stay, preferably measured out in ziplocks for each meal and treats labeled with your pups name. My boarding rate is for a 24 hour period. Discounted rate for additional dogs.
A typical day
What to bring: -Enough food for stay, measured out in zip lock bags (no large food containers or big bags of dog food) -Medication -Crate What not to bring: -No dog beds -No toys/ stuffed animals -No bowls Dogs tend to get possessive over belongings in this kind of setting. I have toys/balls/blankets. ONLY bring your dog on a leash and food/meds, nothing else. Drop off instructions: Upon arrival, text me and I will come out to grab your pet and their food. I generally do not let clients in the house when i have other boarders. DO NOT KNOCK as this will excite all the dogs inside. Send your ETA when you are leaving your house. We will have a scheduled drop off time. If you are late or early i may not be able to answer due to other Rover appointments. Please do not show up unannounced.

I send multiple updates and pictures to you while you’re away. I have a large fenced backyard where dogs have plenty of opportunities for supervised playtime. I will almost always have dogs from different families staying here so its important your pets are friendly with other dogs and well socialized. I do slow introductions with new dogs to make sure they are comfortable joining the rest of the pack. Please note during holidays I may have a high volume of dogs booked. Small or timid dogs are able to have their own space if desired.
