Hi- my name is Katie! I’d like to take the time to introduce myself to any of you fellow pet parents who need someone to take care of their little (or big) loved ones! I’m 24 years old and I’m currently a student in Arlington earning my doctoral degree. I live with my fiancé, Kevin and our 11-month-old pup, Charlie! We also have a little parakeet, Cheesy. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, in fact, loved them so much that from a young age I became the neighborhood pet sitter! We recently moved to the McLean/Tysons area a year and a half ago, and I decided to join Rover because I’m home a lot during the week, mostly studying- which gives me a lot of extra time to watch/care for furry friends. In our free time, we love hiking and I’m also a photographer- so I love taking photos! We live in spacious, non-cluttered apartment and even have little patio where we let Charlie out on if he wants lay outside for a bit. We generally like to hang out at home, but when we’re not at home we are out at the local parks. If your dog likes to take walks/hikes, they are always welcome to come along, as long as you give us approval! Our sweet Charlie loves other dogs but knows his boundaries. He looks forward to his daily playtime with the neighborhood dogs, which we call his friends. At home, Charlie can be playful, but also knows to calm down when he ask him to. He is very submissive, so he never picks a fight! Our little family would love to help out with whatever you may need- walks, check-ins or boarding!
