Pet care experience
Having been around dogs since I was a baby, I am naturally comfortable with them. I’ve cared for puppies, dogs, and senior dogs for over 25 years. Even managers from other jobs have called upon me to stay in their homes with their furry friends while they are away. Your dog and I will be quick to make friends and then on our way to fun adventures. Let me know of any special needs. I want your dog to feel safe and comfortable. We will happily send you a picture of our fun times together. I’ll provide your pup with lots of love and attention. Seeing your pup happy is what fills me with joy. There may be only one thing better than a happy dog and that is a happy dog with a happy parent.

both my dog and i absolutely love Katie! she is excellent at taking care of her when i need the help, loves to play with her and overall is one of the kindest people i know. I don’t trust my dog with many people, but Katie has always been loving and caring with my pet and I know whenever I need someone to pet sit, she’s who I ask. Katie is very attentive and responsible, trustworthy and a wonderful friend to both me and my dog :)

Please let me know about your dog's favorite things as well as his/her dislikes. For example, maybe s/he doesn't like being pet under the chin. I would love to know if you have guidelines about on/off the furniture, how you handle coming into the house after it rains, what your expectations are for good behavior, etc. If there are special needs, we can discuss those, too. I look forward to learning of your pup's favorite activities so our fun adventures can begin!
A typical day
My work schedule varies and so, therefore, the time of day I am available for walks or drop-ins will vary as well. If you are close to my work (Northbrook, Deerfield, Highland Park area) I can stop in during a meal period. If your dog requires additional attention during a stay, we can discuss alternative arrangements beforehand.
