Pet care experience
My husband and I have owned dogs all of our life and are looking to get one of our in about 12 months. Until then my husband agreed that we could fill that void by taking care of other's pets for them. We both grew up with 3 or more dogs in the house at a time. We have experience with large and small breeds and absolutely adore dogs! My best friend, Brownie, passed away earlier this year at 15 years old. My husband lives less than a mile away from the house and can let the dogs out whenever needed, We both work 8-5. We have a 2 story home and a park close to our house that's perfect for walks! I am absolutely love dogs and I can't wait to spoil your dog!

Katie is absolutely the best! She is personable and a real animal lover. She stayed with our dog and cat for a week while we were out of the country and took wonderful loving care of them both. Katie's pictures and updates of Dobby were so comforting and reassuring... and one was very sweet . Dobby ,a Chihuahua, was tilting his head left to right while being held and music played in the background. This was on Valentine's Day too so Katie's husband wore heart-shaped glasses. Breed is not a big deal to us, we love all dogs! We just want to know health status/ issues to be aware of, daily routines, what you will bring with them (so we can keep their stay as close to home as possible), food servings, restroom styles, sleeping style, age, crating and whatever other information you'd love to provide.
A typical day
Our love for dogs isn’t just the cuddling aspect, but the play. We love to go on walks with dogs, play fetch (if your dog is permitted at dog parks, off leash, etc.) and whatever fun activities indoors your dog likes. My husband and I both run outside regularly, and would love to include your dog in that as well! We want to keep consistency of the lifestyle of your dog, while youre away as well!
