Pet care experience
I have loved and cared for animals for a lifetime and first began pet sitting as child. This allowed me plenty of experience with creatures large and small, including birds, reptiles and small furry pets. It would be an honor to be entrusted with your furry friends’ care whether a quick walk or an extended stay.

While in daycare or boarding, your dog will have access to my house and yard which is enclosed with a tall fence. There are no children in the home so your pet can enjoy a peaceful stay. For an extra layer of security, every dog I care for outside of their home or yard (daycare, boarding, walks, drop in potty breaks) gets an Apple Airtag attached to their collar. Pets requiring medications are welcome; I work in the (human) medical field and am very comfortable administering meds.

A typical day
I believe that mental exercise for a dog is just as important as physical exercise, so I like to provide puzzle toys and enrichment in addition to the usual naps and games of fetch. On walks I allow lots of time to sniff. We will move at your dog’s pace, whether that’s a leisurely stroll or a brisk jog. If your dog is swimmer, nothing beats a splashing in the river on a hot summer day! While relaxing at home, your pet will have plenty of individual attention and mealtimes away from other animals. Every dog also deserves a good nap.

Availability
My current schedule has long stretches of availability, so I have lots of time to spend with your pets. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings year-round. Night shift workers are welcome and I am happy to work with your unique schedule.
