I am and will always be the stranger on the street that will get excited and ask to pet your dog. I grew up with cats, dogs, and rabbits. For the past year, I have helped train and raise my roommate’s Australian Shepherd. Since I don’t generally board your pups in my home, your pet will get all of my attention. However, we can always schedule puppy play dates if interested! I absolutely love to spoil the kitties and doggies that I sit for so don’t be surprised if a new toy randomly appears in your home.

Katie got my older kitty playing like never before! She sent photos and videos and I could see how happy and bright-eyes he was with her. I would have her care for our cat again in a heartbeat.
Katie was as usual awesome with the kitties! She made sure the kitties were happy and healthy in her drop ins and sent tons of pictures + comprehensive updates. She’s great!
Katie dropped in on the kitties for a couple of days while we were traveling back from abroad. As usual, she was thorough and very communicative, and took great care of our furbabies. Her updates are comprehensive and she takes such awesome pictures! Highly recommend her.

My most common service is house sitting at your home since it’s usually a better experience for your pets. Since I work remotely, this is usually the easiest option too. I love to take puppers on hikes if they’re up for it! I always like to know how many miles they enjoy and try to find hikes with plenty of water and shade. I’ve even taken Rover dogs camping over the weekend (with consent of course)! I generally get booked months in advance as I do have loyal clients! I am totally a Type A person who plans far into the future so no request is too early for me. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

What are their favorite toys or activities? How are they on walks? I.e. leash aggression, anxiety, common tendencies. Does your dog like other pets (cats, dogs, etc.)? Any medication or dietary limitations? Do they travel in cars well?
A typical day
One thing that I love to receive from owners are detailed documents on how to care for your pet! It definitely helps everything run smoother for me. This can cover anything and everything - from daily physical activity to meals to anything in between.

I work remotely which means I can provide drop-in visits any time during the day or stay with your pet at your home. My current job has a lot of flexibility which is why I’ve started Rovering for the past year to fill in the gaps during my day.
