*please note due to COVID-19 community spread, at this time we are conducting our meet and greets virtually or outside. For confirmed bookings we are asking clients to wear a mask while in our home for drop off* I've been around dogs since the day I was born ;) I've owned dogs since I was 17 and have experience with all shapes and sizes. We now own small dogs ourselves and while we do now have a human son, our dogs were our first babies and continue to be treated as part of the family! We will treat your dog as one of our own. We have owned puppies as well as elderly and disabled/special needs dogs. I have some dog training experience.

I just wanted to take a moment and share our experience with Katie. She is WONDERFUL!!!! We have used Rover in the past and had good experiences, but this was our best experience ever. We have a pandemic puppy that has not been left alone, so I was a bit anxious about leaving the country without him. After our meet and greet ant her lovely home and property, we knew she was THE ONE!!!! Her kind and gentle personality made an immediate impression with me and Sully. She is very loving and so is her husband. They both view dogs as members of their family and were completely on board with any requests. Their home is perfectly suited to host pets in a safe and welcoming environment. We will not hesitate to use Katie again and give her five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you Katie for relieving my anxieties regarding leaving or sweet boy behind, you are amazing!!!! Also, LOVED pictures and updates while we were away!
Katie’s family was the only place for our dog Willie while we set off on a long vacation. Her attention and care was so critical, as was having the companionship of a family, complete with dogs and a young child. We received pictures and updates that helped us relax and know that our dog was adjusting to a routine. We couldn’t have found a more perfect and comfortable stay for Willie, and we’re thrilled he’s made new friends for future stays.
Katie is a young mom with two pups and a toddler, but she still managed to take wonderful care of our baby girl. She sent us pictures and updates on how she was doing, and Rosie came home well cared for and happy, if a big tired. I don’t think she got as many naps as usual in such a busy household! I highly recommend Katie for smallish dogs, and hope to use her again.
Katie was so caring . She tried to understand Kobe and took care of him like her 2 yr old. Thank you Katie !

Our home is toddler and pet proofed. Because our dogs are small and one is special needs, they are always highly supervised around our child and yours will be too. Safety for all is of upmost importance to us. We do have a pool in our backyard but it is secure with a safety fence around it. Dogs are always supervised outside. I am happy to give a virtual tour so you can see our set up. Our dogs sleep next to our bed at night but we can be flexible to accommodate your pup's comfort needs. I would love to set up an outdoor/in person or virtual meet and greet if you feel we’d be a good fit for your dog !

I would like to know how your dog is with other dogs and children. I would like to know what your dogs typical routine is and daily care instructions/special preferences. I would like to know if they are current on flea and tick prevention and vaccines. I would like to know if your dog has any food sensitivities or allergies and if you would like us to give treats!
A typical day
We usually go on 1-2 daily walks around our neighborhood. In the summer this will be morning and evening to avoid the heat. I may take your dog on an outing with my son at one of the many local parks during the day. I bring the dogs outside for fun roaming and play around the yard/ a dip in the doggie pool if they are into that sort of thing! We can definitely accommodate the couch potato too ;) For your packing convenience we can provide dog poop bags, toys, treats, food and water bowl, blankets, travel water bowl for outings . Please pack your dog’s bed and crate. By all means if your dog has favorite items feel free to pack them.

I am a stay at home mom and will be the primary caretaker/coordinator of your family member's stay :) My husband also works from home with a flexible schedule and assists as needed/ provides additional pets and socialization. We offer 2 daily walks, supervised run in our expansive fenced in backyard, outings to local parks, and lots of love!
