Hi my name is Katie. I have a Bachelors Degree in Theology and a Masters Degree in Pastoral Ministry. I have always had dogs in my life; my first dog was a Miniature Dachshund, followed by a German Shepard/Lab Mix, and currently I have a Havanese which I rescued. All of my dogs were trained by me and have completed obedience school. I have 10+ years of experience in dog sitting and dog care. I am experienced with dogs of all ages. I enjoy being active by walking, running, biking, hiking, and bowling. I love meeting new dogs and I would love the opportunity to meet your dog, and help your pet stay active, healthy, and happy. I look forward to meeting you and your dog!

This was our first time using Rover, and we are so very happy with the care our dogs received from Katie. She sent pictures of our dogs during their stay and with each picture, they looked happy and content, which was very reassuring for us. Katie’s own dog was very friendly and seemed very happy to have some playmates for the weekend. Due to a death in the family, we had to find a sitter very quickly and Katie, with only about a 12 hour notice, was very helpful and accommodating to our schedule. It was a very positive experience for us and for our dogs. Both our German Shepherd and our Havanese were wagging their tails and were very happy with her as she was petting them and saying her goodbyes.
COMMUNICATIVE CAREGIVER AND CLEAR LOVER OF FURRY FRIENDS! I needed a pet sitter while training out of state for a new job. I knew NO ONE in the area and was very nervous to leave my little guy with a stranger. Katie put all my fears to rest the minute I talked to her. She took great care of my pup and sent several updates while I was out of town to show me what he was up to and that he was having a good time. She is caring and responsible - I highly recommend her!
Katie is a really caring person! She cares about animals like she cares about people! She treats the animals so well. She is calm and understands their needs and will do what is asked! She has gotten through to animals that have had trouble with other people in the past! She is great!
