Cat and dog care has truly changed my life for the better, I am so grateful for all the pet interactions I’ve had over the years. — While most kids were babysitting growing up, I was caring for my neighbors dogs and cats as well as my own. From pugs and yorkies to boxers and pittys, to our tabby cats and stray kitties, I was raised to love not only our pets but my entire community of animals. Today, I’ve had the pleasure of working in Rover and directly with families to care for their fur babies, all across San Diego. I just moved to University Heights (from Normal Heights) with my cat, Penny, and primarily service 1-2 miles around me. I love where I live and love meeting new local dogs, cats, and people. Pet care has always been my side hustle, then full-time for many months after being laid off, and now back to a (very limited) side hustle again. I volunteer regularly with San Diego Humane Society, as well as with Junior League, and through that experience I’m even more comfortable with and savvy when it comes to pets with big personalities, behavioral issues, and special needs. My approach is gentle and flexible, I'm very respectful of specific directions and requests from owners. When you book with me, I provide lots of photos, I always write a thorough Rover Card report, and I provide live updates in Rover messenger when I arrive and depart. Having booked care via Rover for my cat too, I know how much it means to us to have details, transparency, trust, and an open line of communication. I will care for your pet like it’s my own.
