Pet care experience
I have owned and help taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life. Dogs, horses, cats, rabbits, you name it! I grew up around English setters - my family and our neighbors had them - and I helped train them. I am also a therapeutic horse back riding instructor and I volunteer on a horse training team. I currently live with a miniature Dachsund who is (unfortunately) my best friend. I have never met a pet I didn’t love and I can’t wait to get to know yours 🥰

My wife and I dropped our pup off with Katie while visiting Raleigh for the night. She took excellent care and updated us through the night. We highly recommend Katie as a sitter!
Katie is such a warm person that animals (big and small) take to her instantly. I often wonder if my anxious little dachshund doesn't love her more than he loves me. She has also volunteered as a therapeutic riding instructor for as long as I have known her; bringing comfort and care not only to her students but to the horses they work with. Katie is the most responsible and trust-worthy person I know. I trust her with my own beloved pet whole heartedly and I know many others do as well. Overall there is no one better to care for such an important and precious member of your family than Katie.
I've been friends with Katie since we were in college, and she's definitely the sort of person I would not hesitate to ask to watch after my pets when I'm away. She has a gentle and patient demeanor, she's responsible and reliable, and I can think of few people so well suited to this line of work. And if you happen to need someone to pet-sit your horse, she even has many years of experience with equine care as well, so you really can't go wrong here.
Katie is the best! Over the years I have known her, she has helped me love on and care for my dog, foster cat, and tank of pet fish. She loves to be outdoors and works with animals on a weekly basis through volunteering. Katie will not disappoint as a walking companion, cuddle buddy, treat provider, and playtime pal for your furry (or scaly!) friends.

I am a very attentive care-giver. When I am working from home, my roommates dog and I hang out all day long! Your dog will get many walks, lots of scratches, and constant supervision. Our home has no stairs so it is easy to maneuver, especially for older dogs. We have furniture covers so dogs are allowed to lounge if they would like, and big windows facing the street for lots of entertainment throughout the day!
