Katie and her partner did a great job stopping in to feed, check, walk and water our pets while we where on vacation for a week. She spent an hour getting to meet our pets and wasn't intimidated by our needy 75 pound American Staffordshire Terrier. Our Shepard gave her a hard time at first but they did so well after we where gone that she took her on a walk each visit. She managed not to let our 1 cat escape that likes to try to run between your legs and out the door, and topped off the water for them. She did well with directions for feeding, even managed not to let the two dogs push her around and eat each other's food (a problem I didn't know existed when I'm not home, my father who filled in two days could barely get them to eat out of the correct bowls). She was consistently responsive with messages and proved to us that letting someone build a reputation by being the first client isn't always a bad experience. It took her all 3 visits to build a relationship, even with him grumbling at her, but even the terrier likes her now and she will likely be our go to whenever we want to spend a long weekend at our families house or plan another vacation.
