Pet care experience
I have 10 + years of experience with animals. I do have my own pets but most of the time when I have boarders I keep them separated till I know the new boarders. I volunteer with a rescue to I am use to watching dog and cats. I know how to read behavior of dogs as well. I love animals and have a flexible schedule. All my animals are extremely pet friendly. All my dogs play with puppies in the rescue. But as I said I normally don't let them interact until I know the new boarders. All my pets are vaccinated and well taken care of ! I am use to giving medications and strict feeding. I love animals and enough spending time with them!

Katie was an incredible pet sitter. It was our first time using rover.com, and we couldn't have found a better person to care for our dog, Vader. We were in a last-minute bind, but Katie came through for us. She went above and beyond, and even made time on short notice to meet Vader and us first to ensure he felt comfortable. Although Vader can be anxious around new people, he immediately took to Katie. She exceeded our expectations and we feel lucky to have met her!

I would like to know as much as I can. I love hearing back stories on dogs. Not just because I'm curious but because its helpful information. But the important things are daily routine, feeding specifications, favorite toys. Also I like to know if the dog doesn't like other dogs, cats or isn't a fan of strangers. Nothing like this scares me, I like to know to keep your dog happy and safe. I understand dogs stress, and I try to keep their stress level down. Being away from there family is stress enough, so I want to make the pet happy.
A typical day
I live near a few parks.There is a trails behind my house and normally there is no who there. So it is a nice place to walk. I have a fenced in yard. I love to play ball with the dogs. I enjoy walking and love the company.
