Hi. My name is Katie and I am 21 years old. I currently attend Monmouth University for Education and Special Education. I’ve had dogs all my life. 2 larger ones that have passed and recently adopted two puppies that are more medium sized. I currently walk dogs for family members as well as a few regular dogs in my town. I’m looking to expand my pet sitting to include more dogs! I grew up around dogs, but I also have experience with cats when I watch my neighbors animals. I had to take care of old senile large sized dogs as well as puppies that were 5 lbs. I would like to know ahead of time feeding schedules to make sure dogs are staying in their typical routine to make them comfortable while in my care. I also like to be aware of any medications they may have and if they have any behavior issues so that I can account for that while caring for them.
A typical day
I like to give pets exercise both indoors and outdoors. I enjoy getting them active and running around but also providing them with time to rest and recover. Walks are fun for dogs who need to be leash walked and I love going for both long and short walks.
