Pet care experience
We've owned Pets for all of our lives and we love them like our children. We have a large comfortable home with a secured fenced back yard and a dog run for aggressive dogs. We have a dog door leading from the family room into the yard for potty breaks. Our dog Guests sleep by the fireplace, on our beds or on the couch at night so they are safe and warm. My husband is retired so your pet will never be left unattended. We prefer small to medium sized dogs. We live conveniently off of Hwy 126 in Fillmore. We only take three or four Guests at any one time. We do have a lot of repeat customers so please book early whenever possible.

Katie did a great job making our 10 month old puppy, Gracie, right at home. She even let her sleep on the bed! Gracie come home tired from playing with the other dogs! Katie was also very sweet and understanding when our flight was delayed! Thank you Katie!
I highly recommend Katie - well worth the trip from Thousand Oaks. My girls came back happy as can be. Katie has a great setup and was very flexible with dropoff and pickup. She also gave Molly her pills. I will definitely use Katie again.

A typical day
We introduce the dogs slowly. Once we know they get along, they are free to run, play and sleep in the family room. They have access to plenty of water and a dog door to the fenced back yard. We've found that the dogs get into a routine quickly. At night, we bring them upstairs to sleep. We feed them all separate taking special care to make sure they eat even if it means we sit with them until they are finished. Giving medication is fine. We take special care of tiny dogs and timid dogs to make sure they feel safe. Larger dogs or dogs that show aggression will stay in a large dog run with a dog house, plenty of shade and will sleep in separate quarters inside.
