Hello there! My name is Katie , I reside in Burien, and I’m available this week! I have had dogs throughout my entire life, our dogs have always been our “furbabies” and extremely spoiled with love and attention. I have my own big guy named Petey (seen pictured) I rescued him in Spokane, Wa when attending Eastern Washington U. He was about 5wks old, from a puppy mill and he is now 4.5 years old and is my whole heart/bed-hog/cuddlebug also known as ”needy-petey”, he’s my whole life and wouldn’t want it any other way. I absolutely love dogs, and know how important these furbabies are and deserve to be cared for with love, respect, and kindness. All I want for my clients is to know that their furbabies is being well taken care of and I know how scary it can be to trust another person with them, but dogs are amazing and one of my top goals is too give attention to everyone I come in contact with ! Katie is a phenomenal dog sitter! When I need to go out of town for the weekend (or for work travel), Katie is the first person I reach out to for watching my dog, Thor. Katie always makes sure to maintain his strict feeding schedule and send me occasional pictures while I am away, she is always kind and reaches out immediately with any concerns or questions.
Katie is not only a great friend but also a great dog mom. She is very loyal, responsible, dependable and probably likes her furry friends more than anyone else. I would trust Katie with my animals, house and my daughter.

I would like to know the pups likes and dislikes, Diet schedule/Food allergies (just for safety) Parents rule (I.e not being on the furniture, etc) Medical conditions Favorite toys Does he or she get along with others, kids, etc ? ( again just to know if out walking, etc) If I am to be the one to take care of your fur baby I prefer a set of directions in writing or via text for the visit(s) to run smoothly without me having to bother you multiple times for a simple question of “where’s their food?” :-)
A typical day
I really enjoy scenic walks, early mornings I enjoy walking down on the Alki board walk, Seahurst beach, or Des Monies Marina. Or simply going to a park/school walking the track, and neighborhoods. I do also enjoy hiking up towards the Northbend area, and state park trails. I do not really feel comfortable at dog parks because of the unpredictability of other dogs.
