Foothills walking is my favorite!
Pet care experience
I grew up taking our big lab, Dag, on long walks every morning and evening, and love taking dogs on walks in the foothills and through Boise's awesome parks! If you need home care, I work from home full-time, so I am flexible in meeting the needs of daytime and overnight care to your specifications. Any special needs, just let me know and I'll be sure to follow through! For home care, I can either come and go during the day, or stay full-time at your home if that's what you need! For overnight stays, I'll make sure your dog is comfy and feels safe, whether that means reading them a bed time story, or letting them snuggle with me all night! :) See you soon -Katie

I have nothing but great things to say about Katie and her love for animals! I go out of town quite a bit for work, and she's always my first choice for a dog sitter. Katie sincerely enjoys spending time with my border collie/lab mix, Maizey, and can keep up with both her high energy level and necessary cuddles. I completely trust Katie with my pet, and look forward to the texts and pictures I receive of them playing in the yard, on walks, or Maizey getting a belly rub. Maizey is always very excited to see Katie whenever she is around!

I'll want to know how responsive your dog is to commands like 'stay' and 'no', especially how it pertains to how they interact with other dogs that we may encounter on our walks. I'd want to know if I should be wary of letting your dog sniff and smell other puppers, as opposed to staying clear if your dog is defensive or scared of other dogs.
A typical day
We would go on walks in the foothills, to parks near your home, or along your dog's favorite route! If you have a yard, I'll toss the ball to your dog until they're pooped out!
