Pet care experience
I will care for your pet(s) as if they were my own, and how I would want someone to care for my pet in my absence. I have had dogs in my household for as long as I can remember. My most personal experience was caring for a Blue-nose Staffordshire Bull Terrier from 8 weeks old to 13 years old when she left this earthly plane, so I have experience from puppy to senior. In social gatherings, I can often be found sitting on the floor with the animals instead of interacting with my fellow humans. Spending time with animals is what brings me pure joy. I am patient, positive, active, and attentive to details. I have experience from several informal pet-sitting jobs done for family, friends, and acquaintances, as well as a more formal experience through Rover. I have reliable transportation.

The feeling you have leaving your pets with someone trusting and caring is like no other. Way more relaxing. She let us know how things went at every visit! She sent pictures too! At our meet and greet, you could tell that she genuinely liked animals and all of our dogs just loved her. Thank you so much Katie!
Katie is wonderful!! Both Jack and Stu love her. She always takes whatever time is needed to make sure that they are cared for. She plays fetch - make sure they get attention. Its clear she loves animals. I am still so happy I found her. I can't imagine not having her to care for my fur babies !
Katie is wonderful ! I am so happy she wants to help out with my furbaby. He loves her and so do I. She is kind , caring and very compassionate. She takes the time to make sure she does everything needed then follows up. I will be using her over and over again.
Katie is a phenomenal care taker! She treats your pet like her own and genuinely cares about their well being, happiness, and freedoms. This young woman exhibits respect in the most profound of ways not only within my home, but in interactions with myself and pets. She certainly has a soft spot for dogs but is sincerely wonderful with all of the animals I’ve had. Katie has pet sat for me multiple times over the last few years and I can guarantee you won’t find a better caregiver for your four legged friend!

A typical day
Physical and mental stimulation are important! Walks and running play are always fun. Every animal is different and will often let me know how to play certain games ("Just try and catch me while I keep this toy from you!" they will say). I like to encourage basic commands and also encourage new learning and/or practice of any other commands the animal may know / like to do. I have a seasonal park in my area that is great for walks, and also a hiking area that is great for exploring. A ride in the car will be necessary to reach both of these destinations.

I am available for drop-ins/walks in the evenings after 6pm Thursday - Saturday, after 5pm Sundays, and I am available for boarding/overnights Monday - Wednesday.
