We have a big L shaped, fenced back yard and two Labrador Retrievers to play with! There’s lots of room to run. We have two yard areas for playing and sniffing- one is grass the other is mulch, just like the dog park! I work at home and my office over looks the back yard, so I am always near by. Our dogs, Billie and Porter, have my husband and I wrapped around their paws! Our dogs are our family. If I do leave the house it is just for 2-3 hours at a time. Our dogs are allowed on furniture, so yours are as well (but we will keep them off if that’s your thing!) I grew up with dogs and have had them all my adult life as well (25 years, 45 if you count my childhood). We treat our dogs with loving kindness 100% of the time and trained them with positive reinforcement. Your dog will be treated with the same respect, dignity and love that we shower on ours. Our dogs are very enthusiastic about meeting and playing with people and other dogs alike, but are otherwise very easy going.
