Pet care experience
I’ve used this app through college and now that I’ve graduated I have opened my home to welcome furry friends. I have always had multiple dogs and cats at one throughout my life in Vermont. I’m a lover of all animals and enjoy learning their personalities. Animals are therapeutic for their families and the affection goes both ways. I have had experience with multiple breeds, but have had labradors and pits most of my life. Right now I have a malamute puppy. We have taught dogs things like to ring a bell to go out, wait for the okay to eat her food, sit, lay down, and shake. These are all things we can share with new pets as well. I do work night shift and during the day these two balls of energy love making new friends!

Katie was awesome at introducing her dogs to mine as she and I communicated how our dogs interact with other dogs. Remy is 2 years old and is a 70lb Great Pyrenees and yellow lab mix. Katie handled Remy's loud bark and snarl with her dog and I could tell that she wasn't nervous but cautious about our dogs if it is just playfulness or any aggression. While I was gone Katie sent updates with pictures of Remy and even let him sleep on their couch with them. When I returned to pick up Remy I was told by Katie that Remy got a bit "over zealous" with his dog food and slightly "nipped" her while feeding him. Of course I was concerned about if she was okay and she said she was but all the same she let me know everything either good or bad that he did. Remy was definitely a happier dog after coming back home and I will use Katie's services again in the future. Thank you so much Katie for your help.
Katie’s great. She took great care of my cat each day, and was very responsive to communication via text!
Katie was great. Left notes everyday with pictures and was very accommodating to requests.
10/10 recommend! Katie did house sitting for me for a week and took care of my dog, Loca. She definitely met all my expectations and even took Loca on a play date with another dog - being a new rescue, that socializing with other animals is very important. I’ll absolutely request her services again.

Availability
It is important to know for house sitting cases that my full time job requires me to work 12 hour shifts. If your pet has needs more often I would not be a great fit.
